Student Poster Presentation for LGS 2023

Abstracts are due: October 8, 2023
Submissions are sought that address topics related to a broad range of issues in geriatrics and gerontology. Abstracts must report on findings or initiatives in the area of patient care, pharmacology, research, professional and public education, or public policy. Abstracts will be peer reviewed and rated on significance to geriatrics or gerontology, purpose, originality, clarity, and visual presentation. Six poster presentations will be selected for presentation at the conference
Guidelines:
Abstract of 250 – 300 words
Poster presenters will be able to dialogue with conference participants
Those submitting an abstract will be notified of acceptance by October 15, 2023.

Include brief curriculum vitae (no more than 1 page) including name, title, degrees, discipline, student or employer status and contact information – phone and email.
Chosen presenters will be given free registration to attend the conference.
Presenters will be responsible for their own transportation to the conference and lodging at the conference should they choose to come in the night before and/or stay for the second day of the conference.
Selected Poster Presentations:
A maximum of 6 poster sessions will be selected to be displayed and discussed at the conference during conference registration, breaks, and lunch break on October 28.
An easel will be provided to display your poster.
You may provide handouts of your abstract or other materials if you want.
Posters will be judged and awarded a certificate of achievement and the top three will be awarded a monetary honorarium of $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place, and $75 for 3rd place.
